What insurance do you accept?

Here at Ridgeview Dental Group, we accept most insurance plans. We are an in-network, “Premier Provider” for Delta Dental Insurance, but accept all other plans that include out-of-network benefits. Although it is the responsibility of our patients to know their benefits and coverage details, our experienced staff is well versed in dealing with insurance issues and will be happy to assist you in any way possible.

Please be prepared to provide us with your insurance information before your first appointment so that we may confirm your eligibility. We will also be able to get a breakdown of your benefits to help aid us in estimating any co-pays for future treatment.

Our office accepts cash, personal check, and all major credit cards. We have recently added "CareCredit" as a financing option. Independent financing options may be available. We also offer payment plans to accommodate large, extensive treatments.

How often should I visit you?

You should have your teeth checked and cleaned at least twice a year, though your dentist or dental hygienist may recommend more frequent visits. At these visits, your teeth are cleaned and checked for cavities. Additionally, there are many other things that are checked and monitored to help detect, prevent, and maintain your dental health. These include:

  • Medical history review
  • Examination of diagnostic X-rays (radiographs)
  • Oral cancer screening
  • Gum disease evaluation
  • Examination of tooth decay
  • Examination of existing restorations
  • Removal of calculus (tartar)
  • Removal of plaque
  • Teeth polishing
  • Oral hygiene recommendations
  • Review dietary habits

A good dental exam and cleaning involves much more than simply checking for cavities and polishing your teeth. We are committed to providing you with the best possible care, and to do so, will require regular check-ups and cleanings.

When should I schedule my kid’s first visit?

We recommend you bring your child in for their first dental visit within six months of the eruption of their first tooth or at least by his/her 1st birthday. Some dentists and pediatricians will recommend a visit near the age of 3, but dental decay frequently occurs prior to 3 years old, most often due to prolonged usage of the baby bottle or regular consumption of juice.

This appointment will help establish a good relationship between your child and us. Prevention and patient education is heavily emphasized at our office and begins with early exams, extensive oral health care instructions and demonstrations as well as dietary recommendations.

My child has special needs

Whether is it a physical, mental or emotional special need, our pediatric and family dentists have extensive training in how to properly treat all children. Please thoroughly discuss your specific concerns with us prior to their first appointment.
